Why habits?

The habits I teach are the habits I live by.

These habits are resources that encourage balance and health as well as regulation and rhythm to the day.

They are tools for practicing how to support and nourish yourself.

They are new routines that you create for yourself that when done consistently can help you to:

  • lose weight

  • get deeper, more restful sleep

  • make better food choices

  • feel good in your body

  • improve digestion

  • improve mental clarity and focus

  • reduce inflammation

  • reduce anxiety/overwhelm

  • inspire a sense of purpose and direction

What do you mean by the nervous system?


By nervous system I'm referring to your autonomic nervous system. This is the control system for many of the automatic functions of the body which includes how you respond to and hold onto stress.

I think it's safe to say that most of us humans are no strangers to stress.

Throughout the year I teach the mechanics of the NS and help you understand how you are uniquely wired.

I include practices of self regulation that help to encourage settling and ease in the body.

This education has helped me understand why I act, react, and behave the way I do.

It is so empowering.

Why A Year?

Making change takes time.

The year of Embodied Rhythm is separated into four quarters. Each quarter is 11 weeks where we meet online weekly as a group. 

In the weekly group calls I review the habit of the week. I weave in nervous system education and somatic practices of self regulation.

The calls are also a great way to connect to other members. They are an opportunity to share what's been going well or where you might be needing more support.
