Trauma isn’t just about what happened - but what about couldn’t happen.
In a stressful or threatening situation, the body automatically knows how to protect itself — through instinctive responses like fight, flight, or freeze.
But often, we don’t get the chance to complete these responses. When that happens, the energy meant for action stays stuck in the body, waiting for a way to be released.
Over time, this stuck energy, or stored survival stress, can lead to nervous system deregulation and create symptoms of imbalance in the body.
By learning to recognize and gradually build tolerance for the sensations of fight, flight, and freeze in your body, you create space for the stuck energy to move — the essence of true, body-based healing.
Join Leah for this one hour workshop where she will be sharing:
What the fight, flight, and freeze responses are — how they feel in your body and why they matter
How trauma occurs when these instinctive responses are blocked or incomplete
Why trauma is more about the nervous system than the event itself
The signs of being “stuck” in a survival response
How understanding this can bring relief, clarity, and the beginning of healing
